On 14 November 2025, Ms Bunthida Plengsaeng, Director of the Water Resources Conservation Division, together with Mr. Phongpan Surin, Expert in Community Promotion and Coordination, officials from WRCD, the Office of Water Resources Region 4, Department of Water Resources, relevant local goverment agencies, participated in the teaditional rice-havesting activity eith the farmer group of Ban Khok Klang. The team joined in havesting khao gam (black sticky rice), exchanging knowledge, and reflecting on lessons learned from implementing climate-resilient agricultural measures under the "Enhancing Climate Resilience in the Greater Mekong sub-region through Ecosystem-based Adaptation in the context of South - South Cooperation (Mekong EbA South)"

The activity took place at the rice fields of the Safe Vegetable Growing Community Enterprose, Chumchang Subdustrict, Kuchinarai District, Kalasin Province. The outcomes of this year's khao gam cultivation will be furhter improved and scaled up in future implementation.
