วันที่ 21 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายพงศ์พัฒน์ เสมอคำ รองอธิบดีกรมทรัพยากรน้ำ เป็นประธานการประชุมแลกเปลี่ยนกรณีศึกษาและหารือแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาโดยอาศัยธรรมชาติเป็นฐาน (NbS) พร้อมด้วยนางสาวบุญธิดา เปล่งแสง ผู้อำนวยการกองอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรน้ำ ผู้บริหารกรม ผู้แทนหน่วยงาน อาทิ สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม สำนักงานนโยบายและแผนทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืช กรมพัฒนาที่ดิน กรมการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและเสิ่งแวดล้อม ณ ห้องประชุมสายชล ชั้น 9 และสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์
การประชุมจัดขึ้นเพื่อเน้นย้ำความสำคัญของการประยุกต์ใช้แนวทาง NbS ในบริบทของประเทศไทย เสริมสร้างการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากโครงการสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNEP) เป็นวิทยากรหลัก ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติจากนานาประเทศ พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนกรอบความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วน มีส่วนร่วมในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำ การจัดการน้ำเสีย การจัดหาเงินทุนเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ รวมถึงแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้ NbS ให้เหมาะสมกับประเทศไทยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
DWR Holds Knowledge Sharing on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in Collaboration with UNEP.

On 21 November 2025, Mr. Pongphat Samerkham, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Water Resources (DWR), presided over a knowledge-sharing meeting on case studies and approaches for Nature-based Solutions (NbS). The event was attended by Ms. Bunthida Plengsaeng, Director of the Water Resources Conservation Division, along with DWR executives and representatives from key agencies including the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, the Department of National Parks Wildlife and Plant, the Land Development Department, and the Department of Climate Change and Environment.
The meeting aimed to emphasize the importance of adopting NbS approaches within the Thai context to enhance sustainable water resources and environmental management. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) joined as the main speaker, sharing global knowledge and experiences on NbS.
Participants were also given the opportunity to exchange insights and experiences on water resources management, NbS implementation and practical ways to effectively apply NbS in Thailand.
